When not to run out of recording time!

ACK!! I didn't quite check my VHS tape when I stuck it in the VCR last night just in time for LOST. Dumb. And, of course, I paid for it in that 10 minutes to the end of the episode, it ran out. Drat. Luckily, I happened to be watching at the time (having already put the laundry in). So, staring at the TV as the final moments happened, I was thinking, boy, are my friends going to KILL me! See, I'm the one who records LOST, then a number of us watch it together. So, now I'm going to have to try and explain this doozy. Not only that, I also missed recording the Hanzo 'planted' commercial. I saw it, what a laugh, but they are not going to.

Oh My God - LOST spoilers! )

Drat, not ANOTHER copy

In fandom news - Mr. Lucas will finally be releasing the ORIGINAL Star Wars, Empire and Jedi - WITHOUT changes on DVD in September. You know, the one where HAN SHOOTS FIRST!

darn it, you know how many copies of Star Wars I own now? It's pitiful.

Ahem. VHS (original), VHS ('special' edition), VHS ('special' edition, widescreen), DVD ('special' edition).

hmm... I thought I had another set. Did they release the orginal in widescreen VHS? I don't think so, if they did, I have it.

Sigh. And now it looks like I will also own: DVD (original).

grumble. You know, Mr. Lucas is good. He's sure making sure I spend money!! Now I know who Peter Jackson learned from! Ack! As I won't even go into how many versions of some of the LOTR films I have. At least they are all DVD's... ahem.

I need a Star Wars icon.
