The Witchking's mount actually has his jaw open as if to eat you... I was glad he was so high up on top of the building. But.. hm... I can see your comment on it being dead from the angle of the shot. I'll upload one of the side view to show you the difference.

I was going to put one of the other Ringwraith's mounts, but his wings didn't show up as well.

:) I didn't put in details with the pic because I wanted people to guess, to entice their interest.

Picture was taken in Wellington, New Zealand in early December of 2003 for the World Premier of Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. This is the Witchking and his mount on top of the Embassy Theater.

New Zealand wanted the world premier for the 3rd film, and they threw a huge party - a concert, parade, speeches, art events, etc. The whole city was decked out with advertising in the stores, huge ads and pictures on the buildings .... and Ringwraiths on top of the theaters playing the world premier showing for the stars. (No, I didn't get to see the film till after I got home. This was only for the Rich & famous) I was on a special tour for LOTR, viewing the various filming locations. And the whole tour stopped in Wellington for the two days of parties :) before continuing. I saved for a whole year to go and it was amazing. I think I took over 800 pictures.
