Movies: A Good Day to Die Hard

Over all, Not bad. Not as good as #4 (Live Free or Die Hard) which had a lot of snappy banter and good chemistry. This one, the chemistry is not as strong between John and his son, Jack. As both are doing the 'strong, slient' thing. Lots of destruction, lots of explosions, several 'wait, that fall should have killed them...', and oh, the old classic - slow-mo explosions. And lets not forget the gun battles in a place that... yea, that was interesting. Small twist I didn't see coming. I've discovered the McCLane's power. He's indestructable.

Best scene was the car chase near the beginning. LOTS of destruction, cars everywhere. And funny snappy commentary by John. He wasn't as funny later. Trying for serious. But here, at the beginning, boy yea, take on that Tank John. Sure. That will go well. NOT.

Enjoyable, but not outstanding.

One of the many trailers was for Fast & Furious 6. All I can say - looks like Die Hard 6 to me! Explosions! Tanks! Planes! Cars!
