and may 2014 NOT SUCK! It's the Year of the Horse - which is my year, so there is hope. And I'm clinging to hope.

I wave goodbye to the suckitude of 2013 with family squabbles and infighting and it kicked me on the way out with the death of a friend. wolfemeister you will be missed. I will miss your kindness, good nature, dolly finds and tv show chats especially.

Oh dear, I wondered why you had been so quiet but I assumed, like everyone else, you'd moved off to Tumblr or somewhere else.

I am so sorry that 2013 has been a year of suckitude for you--and for the loss of your friend as well. *hugs*

And I haven't forgotten I owe you a story. I know, it's been a gazillion years, but the last couple of years have been pretty sucky for me too.

I admit I'm more active on Tumblr - but that's because my current fandom is Sherlock - and most of the artists and such are posting on Tumblr. I have been checking LJ, but erratically, and haven't had much to say.

And I have not been productive at all. Pretty much a wasted year. I have not felt the urge to do any photo manips or anything. Probably due to family stress. *sigh*

All I can say - 2014 has GOT to be better!

I have felt so sad since wolfemeister passed. I just saw her at the BJD con in November, and we had a nice chat. I thought she looked good. God, I hope this year is better.

I know what you mean. Most of 2012 and 2013 was a write-off in terms of stories for me. I love your icon here! I wish I enjoyed Tumblr. It's growing on me slowly but I really prefer LJ. Sadly, most of the fandoms have shifted. :-(

Here's to the backside of 2013 and welcome 2014 with open arms!
