Splurging

Broke down and bought a new flat screen monitor for my home computer. Found a decent sale. Of course, they're probably be even cheaper ones next week! but, oh well. Can't hook it up yet till I get the right cable. Even though they said a DVI cable was included, it was just a standard video one. I have an extra DVI at work .. so it's going to be liberated! My video card on this computer needs a DVI input. It's had a converter on it for this old monitor. The new monitor also didn't come with a cd of drivers. hmm... is that standard now? Geeze - I hope it doesn't cause MORE computer flake out! I haven't fixed the flake out from the LAST monitor mess!

Also wandered around looking at laptops when at Fry's and had looked on line at Dell. I have expensive tastes. The ones I wanted were in the $1,000 range. ::sigh::

I got a whole bunch of old computer stuff and my mom's doing a run to the hazardous waste, so I can finally get it all cleared out! Whee! ::cough: now just to organize and get everything back where it should be. And uhm... I should be doing that instead of surfing.

Silly Cats

Eowyn, after having a moth battle on my bed near the light for the last hour, has decided she's now scared of said moth and has run hell-bent-for-leather across the attic. Hmm.. I wish she'd just eat the silly thing!

Times like this I need a video camera. Her little squeaks as she attacks, then runs away are sooo funny!

Yes, it's late and I'm easily amused.

Eowyn is the kitty on my icon. I need more icon space! I always find ones I want to use.. but I'm full up! ARGH!
