Hot! Hot! Hot!
23 June 2008 11:38Ye gods, what a weekend of laying under a fan and trying not to move much. And just think, all those golfers were complaining about the overcast/June gloom and wanting sunny skys for the US Open last week. Ha. They were LUCKY! If the US Open was This weekend - they'd all be complaining about how HOT, HOT, HOT it was!
So, here in CA we are sweltering (and burning), and the middle of the country is being overrun with water. Too bad we can't trade.
And, of course, the kicker - the AC is broken at work :( :( :( Bummer. And here I was looking forward to setting it super low and freezing the office out. Since I'm the only one here, I could have gotten it as cold as I could stand. ::sigh:: So not to be. At least I have a fan. And lucky the boss keeps us well supplied with fans, I've even loaned an extra to our landlord.
