397 emails???!!!

Yikes! Have survived the 1st leg of the great summer group 'o friends vacation. This time a 10 day trip of 1/2 camping and 1/2 hotel in San Francisco (where I am now). I didn't manage to post before we left on the camping bit, as I had to work Friday, then was delayed in last minute stuff getting home, then throwing stuff into car and getting going..... it was very late by the time we reached the mid-point overnight hotel and collapsed. Up early to continue drive to tent cabins in Big Basin State Park. Very pretty coastal redwoods. Nice park, nice camp spots, no cell or internet or anything, and very quiet.. except for the bird fights in the early mornings. I found it very pretty, and I'm very glad no fires nearby, though everyone in the nearby town of Boulder Basin was extremely nervous and the air was ashy from other fires.

Now, in San Fran, going to sight see and check in on my sister and new niece!

Trying to cull the emails now... haven't even thought of how far behind on LJ I am... groan. I wish there was a 'bookmark' feature to mark where you last read to that you could go to and start from, otherwise you keep going back pages forever not knowing how far you need to go.

All I can say is thank god for my laptop!!! And how did I survive 9 days last summer with no internet and camper camping in AZ???
