Day one was pretty laid back - get your con badge, look at more things to spend money on (photos) and some guests. I enjoyed Connor Trinneer's talk and took a whole bunch of pictures. I have a seat on the isle and a fairly good center line - but a tall person I need to lean around. Luckily I can almost hold my camera over my head and still see what I'm doing, even if my hands were going numb!
Connor's got a pretty expressive face, and I've got a number of funky expressions. He also really held that mike close to his mouth, so I've tried to pic a few to upload that I got a good shot.
Since I was busy with photos, I totally lost track of what he said. Basically that he enjoyed the 1st appearance of Michael on SGA the most, that he enjoyed doing the villian (all the 'grrrrrr' shots I attempted were blurry), that makeup time got him into character (and was long), that he did a number of his stunts in the final battle (the punching stuff), that he prefers longer guest rolls and dislikes small stuff and that he loves the city of Vancouver.
