Is it still Winter?

Was that a Santa Ana this last weekend? It sure felt like it, dry, warm air blowing from the inland areas. Its been a strange, strange winter. Definitely warmer than past years. I haven't even put the last blanket on my bed. Hell, I'm only at two, and for winter, that's nothing.

While the rest of the country is hitting freezing, horrible cold.. it's been in the 80's F all week here. Strange.

For those in the cold, uhm, I wish I could send you a bottle of sun. Really.

It sure is here! Down to -30 last night. I was out this morning filling my feeders (cause in cold weather feeders are very important for birds!) and my fingers kept sticking to the metal on my black sunflower feeder. Not quite freezing to it but certainly sticking! It's a lovely day out though. Lots of snow on the trees and clear, bright blue skies. Love days like this!
