Meet the new kitty

Yes, yes, I got a new kitty...uhm... months ago? I know, I'm bad.

Around the end of March, Eowyn was driving me crazy by her moping and crying, so I gave in a checked the shelters and pet store rescue kitties for a kitty that called to me. I wasn't looking for a kitten, but I wanted young female. After looking for 2 weeks, I tried a different petstore with my friend, and going to look at a kitties one came up to me and practically jumped in my lap. Surprised the two rescue workers, who called her stand-offish. She played gently, purred and wanted to be held with no struggling. Yea, she wanted to go home, that's for sure.

So, meet Cleo. She's about year and a half, medium hair and LOVES people. Anyone who comes to the door gets greeted and demanded for belly rubs. My mom loves her. Eowyn =HATES= her. *sigh* It's kitty warfare all over the attic. At least she's not lonely.





She's got FUZZY FEET! She really needed a hobbit name... but none fit her. Right now she's pissed at me for giving her the monthly flea medication.

She's beautiful! And bless you for taking an adult cat, they're much less likely to get adopted than kittens. And dont' worry Eowyn will probably mellow over time.

yea, she's a real friendly kitty. She 'play' bites and bats with her fuzzy feet so gently, never biting down. The rescue workers said she's been there about 4 months. Poor girl! I admit I was looking for a silver/grey ish tabby with white markings. The other one they had had to be adopted with another cat. So I went back to 'meet' 'beauty' as she was called, and clicked my fingers and she practically leaped right out to me. and rubbed all over me purring. And the same, when I went back to get her (had to run off and get cash and get 'approved for adoption'), the two rescue ladies couldn't get her out of the cage - she hissed at them and clawed them. Me, I went back there, called 'here kitty', clicked my fingers and she came right up to me. My mom loves her so much because she comes right up to the door and demands pets.

She is! She's got very fine soft fur, and she doesn't shed all that much, surprisingly.

Eh, Tiki doesn't like Merlin either. Cats are cats. I wouldn't worry about it. They will eventually deal with it themselves.
