corvis_corvax wanted to see it, so it sounded like a good thing to do on a Friday night.
It was a pretty enjoyable B movie in a surprisingly packed theater! I liked the by-play between Cage & Perlman, who had the buddy thing down pat; enjoyed the scenery (filmed in Hungary & Austria); and always enjoy a good costume/sword & magic piece.
All around enjoyable - but again, it's a "B" type movie - with all the cliche's socorvis_corvax and I were pretty much joking through the movie who would 'bite it'. I mean come on, you have a party of 5 traveling to a place and with danger chasing them - you KNOW you are going to end up with 1 MAYBE 2 at the end. I can say - we both guessed wrong. Who survives I didn't guess.
