Winter Olympics!

The winter Olympics start tonight with the opening ceremonies! Yay! Happy dance!

It's new shows on Sci-Fi Friday! Yay!

Wait.... they are on at the same time! D'OH!!! I obviously need two VCR's :(

*pouts* I don't get to see the Olympics and I'd like to. We have Satellite Directv and only get the basic. Which means, where we live out of town, we can not pick up any reception on the local channels, partly due to Satellite interference, thus . . . if we want to PAY MORE, we could get the local channels, but I find most of that pretty boring (not the Olympics). Which brings me back to the fact that we can't see the Olympics. :(

Oh no! That's horrible! Actually, I know what you mean. I have Dish, and I do pay extra for local - or did, when I first got cable. Now it's included. I have the 'get it all package'. My grandma watches only a few channels, but when they would do 'free promos' for things like the three history channels (and I had only one), she'd whine when she couldn't get it anymore. 'But I LIKED that one!'. So I ended up upping my bill. At least she isn't interested in HBO/cinemax/showtime.
