winter_elfVery much enjoyed it. I've read a little of the comics, but only one 'version'. I know they keep changing things, and I just haven't kept track. So, any continuity errors - oh well! I was a little rumpled that they sort of threw off things for the other movies, so I don't know what they are planning to do next.
I especially liked all the scenes with Angst puppy Erik and earnest Charles. Oh baby. They had wonderful chemistry and if it was only them globetrotting the entire movie - I would have been a happy camper. Kevin Bacon was vamping up the supervillian and having a grand 'o time at it! the other Mini mutants were okay, a little wallpaper-ish, though Raven/Mystique had a bit to do, so she was more fleshed out.
Great action, good dialogue, fun fights, lots of destruction and slashy banter! Whee!
Only drawback.... actually, the same thing as in Thor - there's this short span of time (4 days) in which a =LOT= happens. And well, I wanted that to be a lot longer - because Erik and Charles has just basically met and they do all this training and mutant gathering in 4 days? yea.....
Worth seeing - oh yea!
