No more Olympics

Now I can finally get some sleep! Who's bright idea was it for them to run from 8pm till midnight??? Come on! It was a tape delay to begin with - why couldn't they have started earlier and not run as late. And, of course, they wait till 11pm to really get going with the main group of figure skaters. ::: sigh :::

I need to write a letter to NBC. Why was viewship down? Because you were idiots! Keeping things till way too late at night, promoting stupid Americanisn, and I was getting really, really, really sick of the typer critical skating commentator, Button. Enough is enough! Show more events and stop with the sappy stories and continual promoting of favorites (even when you KNOW already they don't win!)

And show more hawt men!!! Where were all the hawt men, I ask you? They kept showing stupid skiing and bobsleding. Every time I turned the telvision on...it wa something I could CARE less about. I wanted to see the fun events! And the figure skating they showed at fucking midnight! I mean really!!!!! GAH!!!

I agree that the commentators of the ice skating REALLY SUCKED. I got so sick of their playing favorites and going on and on and continally tell us who was sick and struggling through it all AND who was the MOST talented. Sheesh, the entire Olympics was just American melodrama crap. I'm glad we did well, but the attitude of our country about the Olympics really is childish and horrible. The way the play it, EVERYONE is a failure except the gold medal winners. Hell, I think they are all winners just for being there and willing to train hard, and compete with all that pressure. And silver is NOT failure. And bronze is NOT failure. But they way it's expressed the 2nd and 3rd place winners might as well go dig themselves a hole to hide.

It's RIDICULOUS!!! Grrrrrrrrr . . .

PS - I wish I had a TRUE satellite service that would let us see broadcasts from other countries, not just of the Olympics but their normal programming . . . so one could see and understand that there are other ways of looking at things then the way the 'controlled' media in our country presents things.
