yea, I'm not going to get much sleep. I'll be in a lot of lines. Oh well - sitting in panels keeps me out of the dealers room and the temptation of spending money!

I admit, thinking of all the Avengers stuff going on there, I'm going to be very envious of you!

hmm.. no, I'm not expecting to see much Avengers stuff, maybe a little for the DVD. Comic con is all about Advertising for UPCOMING movies - stuff that is 6 months to 12 months away.

Now Joss will be here - he's on a Firefly panel - and there's a 'worship Joss panel' (what I call it). But those will be about all that he's done - not just Avengers. I might still try to get into the worship panel (hahaha), just to see if he talks about Avengers.

Huh. I never realized that. I guess because the Stargate franchise was there a couple of time--I suppose that was to promote the next season.

Damn, I really wish there was a weekly sci-fi show on again that I could really get into. If you hear about anything cool, be sure to fill us in on it!

yep. two years ago CBS had this HUGE advertising for H5O - panel, t-shirts, lei's, cards, etc. Last year - nothing.

Stargate came all years where the next season was in production. Some shows do. Other shows only seem to come the 1st year.

CBS is advertising panels for its flock of new shows. I am interested in two of them, so I'll try to see the panels.

But yea, best bet to keep in mind - advertising for the upcoming year.

and I say that with disappointment, as there was one year that a movie was released in May or was it June? before the con and I was all excited about - oh all the stuff about it I'll see at the con - and NOTHING. I forget what movie now - but it did farly well.

I will! I'm going to be hauling around two camera's - my small one for taking quick shots in the dealers room - and the big one for the panels. And for Sat, I'm going to attempt to borrow a video camera for the Hobbit panel.
