5 colors a day
3 August 2007 14:59My chiropractor is Mr. Health Food nut. He's always got a different lecture each week, and questions he quizzes you on. Of course, when I told him my blood sugar was bad, he *tisked* at me and told me I wasn't paying enough attention. Yea, okay, he has been advertising against white bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, sugar, pop, etc for a while.
::sigh:: Like I said, disgustingly healthy. Some times his quiz is asking people how many times they go to the gym - and convincing for more. Actually, its nice to have someone who's living that way, not someone who's doing lip service. He tells you what he does, and believes, and always has new info, new ideas, new handouts, etc.
Last week it was that one should be eating a salad a day. Something I wasn't quite doing. Okay, I was doing several a week - but not every day. (then)
This week... that one needs to be eating, every day, 5 different colors of fruit/veggies. Uhm. Okay, I fail that one. I usually have green, and orange and sometimes red most days. But Blue/Purple? And yellow?
So, another thing to work on. More different COLORS of veggies! ARGH!
