Well... Volks came out with FCS heads for the 60cm BJD that have elf ears finally. I've been drooling over their small banner ad on the website for over a month, as well as bugging mercy_asakura constantly to take 'lots and lots' of photos of said elves, and whining that I couldn't go (because of a prior commitment) and wanting a chance at the one-off elves.

Well, turned out they had NO one-off elves. ?? hhmm.. but I'm glad to drove up to LA on Sunday for the Volks store event - because they had the elves there - even if I couldn't take pictures of them.

So. I gave in. I ordered my first FCS. And maybe it was a huge frantic crowded store and it was a little bit rushed, but the head/makeup I wanted to base my FCS on was only going to be there for that day, so that was my chance.

Head: F-30
Body: Volks SD13 boy w/long legs
Hands: Gun hands
Feet: tabi
Ears: #1 - The longest they had!
Skin: Pureskin normal
Eyes: 18mm Thin Green
Wig: (new style) W-118 in pearl white (long slight curl with no bangs)
Extras: Sanded, coated, and sueded
Makeup: See picture below. I asked for this (and this is the head and ears I got as well).

I must get down there and order my F-31! So, tell me - is snow available or not??? Now to decide if I want dragon-eared or long eared...

yep - all three skin tones till Oct 29th. And they had those new three in all three skin tones, and wow - the difference the skin tone makes! There's two different types of long eared, one that goes straight back (which I got), and one that slants down slightly, which Mercy calls 'demon' ears. I had a hard time choosing between those two.
