And yet more pics. I carried about two camera's as per my usual - my digital which I was using mostly for doll shots as well as flowers and etc (useful macro!) and my film camera, which I think takes utterly clear, wonderful landscapes. I have a real steady hand when taking pictures, but even so, often the digital blurs - and you can't tell with the tiny screen, because it's only a tiny bit fuzzy. Hugely fuzzy ones you can see and delete :( It's got too slow a shutter speed. I've been getting a cd of my film pics when I have them developed for easy uploading.

Ruby beach. I just love the beaches up in WA - Green, lots of trees, sea stacks and driftwood bigger than you all over!

Using that macro! A butterfly in the Victoria Butterfly Gardens. I filled a card and chased butterflies around for about an hour getting many, many, many shots :)

HOH Rainforest mini-meadow. You wouldn't believe how HOT it was that day! Gads, a heat wave in a rainforest! And here we were prepared for rain. I liked the little specks of flowers with the trees.

A Dragon Jawbone! A homage to Johsel Namkung. In Seattle, we visited the Asian Art Museum. Smallish, had some interesting stuff, but I was most entranced, by the traveling exhibit of 'Ode to the Earth' - the photography of Johsel Namkung. I spent all the time staring at his huge photos in amazement. He make pictures of nature seem like abstract paintings. Utterly wild. I bought both of his books.
