Came home tonight to my grandma telling me there was going to be a full Lunar Eclipse tonight from 2am to 4am. hmmm.. considering how late I was up last night *cough* 5:00am *cough*, it won't be a problem.

I don't know why my sleep schedule is all screwy, I'm not tired and time just gets away from me, then it's like really late, and I'm like, huh, really? It's like I want to be up all night and sleep all day - which is kind of hard to do with work. *bleah*

How weird. Earlier tonight I was out looking at the moon - not only was there a fairy ring, but when the clouds passed over the face, they turned into rainbows. When the clouds all passed and the moon was unobscured it was so damn bright that I could hardly look at it. At the time I thought, the only thing that could top this would be an eclipse.

Weird.

I'm on the backwards-sleep-schedule train with ya.

Cool! yea, it was nice and super clear out - not a cloud in the sky and the moon was right overhead. Wish I had a better lens on my camera, I took a picture, but I don't have a good telephoto.

Is it sad that I'm totally looking forward to sleeping in guilt-free (or less guiltily) while I'm unemployed?

Thinking about the eclipse...I want to take the bus to work to save $$, which means getting up earlier. :/

Martin and I watched from about 2:30 to 4:30am while it was in total eclipse. Wow so you say you just found out about it last night. I have been waiting for a while to see it. Hope I can stay awake today at work.

I slept through it. Though I have to admit I did not know about it until this morning when Susan mentioned she got up to see it at 3:30. I am planning the see the Aurigid meteor shower with Bruce.

So you ARE going to see the Aurigid meteor shower too? The peak should be at 4:36 a.m. on Sept. 1st, so like the lunar eclipse you could still be awake!
