winter_elfWell, that was an exhausting weekend. Flew up to Oakland to meet up with my sister ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
psyche7772 so that we can travel up to Eureka for our Uncle's wedding on Sat. Rain, rain and more rain, plus lots of traffic made for slow going. We did make Eureka in time for the yummy rehearsal dinner. The B&B also had a TV room - so I caught SGA!! Yea!! Good episode :)
I also found out the family "news".psyche7772 is pregnant! So, I was incorrect earlier in saying that my sister (not on LJ) was pregnant. They both are! I'm going to be an aunt TWICE over next year. On/around Feb 19 and on/around May 4th!! Wow! I'm all excited! This will be psyche7772's first.
The day of the wedding was clear and nice. Wedding was very nice. I had WAY, WAY too much wine. Gads. I had like 4 glasses of different wines in front of me at one point. My uncle likes various wines, and brought his 'cellar' basically, so there was tons of variety. He also likes Icewine, and brought several bottles of that too. I had to try them all. ::cough:: yea.
Then breakfast brunch on Sunday after which drove back to Oakland, via a stop atpsyche7772's mother-in-law, who also cooked us a huge meal. Collapse, get up EARLY on Monday, return home, only to go directly to work.
So, in recap: OMG both of my sisters are pregnant, my uncle had a nice wedding, I like the new relatives, I drank too much wine, I ate too much food and I need to sleep for a week.
