Greenness!

Well, opened and played with my new laptop some. It's bigger and heavier than I expected. It's not a light little thing that's for sure! it's got a 15.4 widescreen, so it a large size. And the keyboard seems decent, so that's good, and it's green, of course :)

I'm not sure I like Vista though. It's got so much stuff, it's hard to figure out, and you know what, the 'turn off' is way hidden! Took me a while to find how to turn off the laptop. I'm still just fiddling a little. Big test is this weekend when I'm at the Stargate convention :) So I'll be able to stay in touch and check email and lj and all that. heh.

Yeah, I'm not in love with Vista. I've had mine long enough to figure out the important bits but jesus, why create a new learning curve with every damn release?

I've been working with Vista every day for a couple of months now, and it's gotten reasonably comfortable.
