Okay, it was either a VERY vivid dream, or it was real, but I'm pretty sure it was real, mostly because I don't often remember dreams, especially not hours later - but this morning (Sat), the maid knocked on the door and tried to open the door at SIX AM!! No kidding. WTF is up with that? I always flip the security holds, so it's not like the door opened all the way, but it was like out of the twilight zone. It was quiet for several hours after that, then she started bugging me every 10 minutes even though I told her at least 10 times, after noon I'd be gone. ::sigh::

So [livejournal.com profile] lordgloria, you did the maid thing - ever tried to clean a room at 6am? I can understand if one starts with vacated rooms or such not, when it's already been recorded the person's gone.. but for someone who's still there? ::groan:: Last time that happened to me, I think it was around 8am, and I thought THAT freaky.

Con was otherwise pretty good today. I should have packed more snacks. After a lateish breakfast at 10:00am, I wasn't in the mood for lunch right away, then things got busy, then it was 7pm and I was STARVING! Luckily I brought a few fruit bars, but needed something more. Ah well.

One good thing, no freaky questions this time (yet). No, 'sing happy birthday to my friend/me/so-and-so', or 'give me a hug' or 'I want to give you my phone #'. Also not many to Michael about current Stargate questions. Most were on past stuff or current projects or acting in general. I was about to get up the courage to ask about the two movies they filmed when time ran out.

Tomorrow - the big Atlantis day with Joe Flanigan! Oh man, I'm still nervous about how that's going to go and what I should ask. ::fret, fret::

NO! Never at 6 AM, unless the door was open and they'd checked out. If they were stay-overs, and heading for the elevator, it's okay to ask what room they were in and do that. Otherwise, we didn't start knocking until at least 8 AM. Did you put up your DO NOT DISTURB sign?

I did tonight! Though I do have to be up much earlier tomorrow, not only to get ready for the breakfast thing, but also to pack car and checkout.

Glen and I make it a practise to put out the sign before we go to bed, just in case. Makes things easier all around. :) Have fun tomorrow!

Yep--always a good idea to put out the Do Not Disturb sign.

Otherwise, I've had a few early wake-up calls from maids, myself! But the sign usually works! ^__^
