"Be all my sins remembered" starts off the final set of 10 Stargate Atlantis episodes, and the 1st new one since early December - oh the agony! Luckily, Sci-Fi isn't making us wait 6 months like last year ::groan::
I'm really bad at episode reviews, and after reading some of the reviews out there by speedy typers, I feel I don't have much left to say. I DID very much enjoy the episode. Lots of space battles, good acting and tight, fast paced story.
What I liked:
- Carter telling Ellis off for getting on McKay's case
- Caldwell acting like he's part of Atlantis, calm and being there, even supportive
- Teyla finally telling her team (most of them anyway on screen) about the pregnancy (and saying she's 3 months along and known for 2). I totally agreed with both Ronon's reaction (sweet) and John's (anger)
- McKay's fembot (oh god, a she's a female John - really!)
- Zelenka was a scream
- The plan and special effects of the replicator destruction- the blob! and the drawing from space (and Ellis' reaction of it working)
- Final scene - John and Rodney chatting together alone!
What I didn't care for:
- Larrin's treatment of John, and John's reaction to her, ugh.
- That McKay and John spent most of the time doing different things, though the final scene sort of made up for that
- Ellis' attitude. But makes his character different I suppose
