Just got back from two full days at Disneyland and California Adventure. Two (almost) full days of walking around and doing rides... and OMG, but I'm so tired, my feet hurt and my back aches! **yawn** I want to crawl into bed and just sleep, but trying to catch up on two days without checking mail and lj.
Yes, I had my laptop... but after a full day of Disneyland yesterday + fireworks x 2, by the time I got back to the room after 11pm ..... the bed called and the laptop never got taken out.
Was a friends 40th b-day, and her choice was for as many of her friends as possible to do the whole Disneyland thing with her. So, we did. Got two-fer tickets, got a hotel room, and proceeded to immerse ourselves into the happiest place on earth. Which is very, very exhausting.
Sat, up at 6am and out by 7am, so that we'd get to the park at opening (9am), which we did. Rides, shopping, walking, shopping, rides, oh, and food, parades followed by fireworks and more fireworks then collapse. Sunday was a repeat - fireworks (we didn't stay that late) and a later start time as CA Adventure doesn't open till 10am.
My main problem was that I was cursed with bad luck this trip in that me being in line would cause my favorite ride to break down!!!!! My favorite ride is the Indiana Jones ride. I usually do it and pirates at least twice. And, I did manage, finally, to do the Indiana Jones ride twice - but that was with FIVE tries! Twice I'd gotten in line and almost been to the front when the ride had broken down and we all had to file out. ::groan::
