Mardi Gras and Elections

Can you imagine them on the same day? I sure couldn't, but that's what we've ended up with this year since the CA primary has been moved up. At least we get to vote before everything has been decided. ::sigh::

So, I voted, and the street outside my work was closed for the evenings festivities causing quite the traffic detours.

Whaaat?? There were Mardi Gras celebrations in CA??? I thought Mardi Gras was all about location location location, but perhaps it's about any excuse to party to you drop. *teasing of course* *pokes* You do know I'm teasing right Annette? ;P

yea, just an excuse to party. not the 'official' thing. I'm sure every largeish city throws it's own version. At least out here they do.
