Because I'm thinking he's wrong. It was 80 degrees in SD during the day over the weekend. 80!!!! Warm, sunny, hot. Of course, it was chillier in the evening, and one needed to have a coat around if in a shady area or with a breeze - but still 80!

I'm wondering how much longer we'll have winter. Because it seems to have left Southern CA!

I hear ya!!

I had heard that he DID see his shadow and there was still a bit of winter left. We have been in the seventies here, which I love but not in February. I'd still prefer between 40's and 60's range so I can enjoy my sweaters.

Oddly enough since the global warming trends began, Socal has gotten colder for longer periods. When I moved here as a kid it was like 10 months of 75 to 100 degree weather and then 2 months of 55 to 65 degree weather. Hardly winter, I never wore more than a wind breaker for years.

Now in the last 3 to 5 years we're getting 1 to 3 months of weather between 30 and 50 degrees actual winter things like frost and ice, and then maybe 3 more months of 55 to 85 degrees (spring and fall) with only 2 or 3 months of high summer that admittedly is much higher (119 two summers ago) than it used to be.

So Cali is all screwed up as is the rest of the world weather wise. Al Gore seems to be right more and more.
