No Eclipse for Me

Was really looking forward to a good Lunar Eclipse today ... and today is the day the weather picked for rainy and cloudy :( Foiled by clouds. ::sigh::

When we were riding home this evening, west to east, the eclipse was just starting and the moon was a lovely reddish color, so we decided to drop our things off at home and ride up Nob Hill to get a better view. However, once we got up there, the clouds had come in and while we could still see a fuzzy sliver of the moon, we couldn't really tell if it reached totality or the clouds just got thicker. Plus, we were freezing, so we came home to look at the pictures online. *pooh*

I caught a glimpse of it toward the end, when the clouds started breaking up around here. Pretty cool!
