or I really, really, really, really don't need any more 'stuff'. And should stay home and NOT go shopping tomorrow.

I certainly don't need any more towels. *sigh*

Linen's & Things has been having a 'going out of business' sale for the last several weeks, and I was drawn into the store like a moth to a flame every week - checking to see what was on how much of a sale... and I kept BUYING THINGS! ARGH! I'm bad. :( I need to be stopped. I didn't need more towels - even if they are soft, fluffy and pretty *sigh* I now have a boat load of more towels. big, pretty, fluffy, green towels.

The problem with all the ads for tomorrow 'black friday', is I see things I want (but not need) but I'm not finding what I'm supposto find - presents for family/friends. I have NO idea what anyone wants, which makes shopping at this early a time difficult. I'm one of those people who goes to the mall a lot all month, wanders around aimlessly, and then frantically buys stuff on the 24th when I have a clue or just desperate.

Back to looking at ads I guess......

Not yet--I've had so much catching up to do here--I was a day late getting home due to having a flight canceled at the last minute, and then with Thanksgiving and trying to deal with the aftermath of being sick and then out of town...you know how it goes...

Well, I had three flights total to get me back to my side of the country and the very last one flew out of Charlotte around 8 pm. We were actually starting to board when they stopped us due to mechanichal problems. After they dinked around trying to fix it for over and hour, they canceled the flight, only by then, I couldn't get a seat on a plane that would take me any closer to home than I already was--so instead of driving for 3 hours in the pouring rain, I opted to take a hotel and fly out the next day. It was still after midnight before I got to the hotel! No luggage. No food (except vending machines)The hotel gave me a toothbrush and a raincheck for their famous cookies. :-)

bleah! that sucks!!! I've had the 'sit on an airplane' troubles too - about 10 years ago, sat on a flight leaving Rochester NY for Five hours while they changed the fuel pump. It was in the morning, so after sitting around for 5 hours, we DID get to leave, but missed the connecting flight to SD in Chicago. Luckily, SD is a bigger city, so we found one to catch. double bleah about so late, no food :( :(

Roanoke is a tiny little airport that rolls up its carpets at about 11 pm. If the airlines hadn['t dinked around so long trying to fix the plane, I could have (possibly) caught an earlier flight. It wasn't a huge deal for me, but one man was boiling over because he had to give a presentation in Roanoke at 9 am and the earliest plane left Charlotte at 9:24.

I just had to re-arrange my ride home, reschedule morning appointments, leave my dog at the kennel an extra day, that sort of thing. :-)
