Leaving on a Jet Plane

winter_elffly away, fly away, fly away! I'm OUT from San Diego and heading for Toronto. Yay! Time to get some of my many weeks of vacation time in. Of course, this is the week my cat got sick and needs medication when I'm gone. So, I had to frantically panic about that and plead with neighbors and mom to do it. blah, nothing is easy.
So, I'm off to Toronto to see the Lord of the Rings Musical. How it will be I have no idea, but I talked my sister into going, so we'll both find out. Those on my LJ who didn't know I was a total geek for LOTR.. now you know.

Date: 22 May 2006 06:17 (UTC)Blackjack (her brother) misses her, but he's sticking close. They both were, having adjusted to the move immediately. Winkie and Blackjack were/are more attached to the family than the house. It's a shame. She was starting to be accustom to coming into the house and spending the evening. We wanted to make her an in-door only kitty.
Blackjack will come in, but he won't stay long.
