winter_elfSunday or the day we've all been waiting for - the glee that will need several posts to show!
I've not had the chance to meet with Rachel at a small con event like this (the crazyness of Comic Con several years ago where I barely heard her talk doesn't count). She's very sweet and sort of quiet and has a super voice. She really does seem a lot like the calm Teyla that she portrays and it's sad that TPTB can't seem to use her character more.
The audience wanted her to sing a LOT and that and the constant asking about romance made me feel sorry for her. I soooo agreed with what Rachel said, that UST is best and it leaves things open, and if I'd had my photo op before the panel, I would have told her that!! I had this teenybopper sitting next to me who seemed to want to yell Sheppard for every question Rachel was asked. *grits teeth*
The only funny thing that I picked up on - she changed into different outfits every time I saw her!! At the morning breakfast, a cute floral dress; at the Photo ops a tight black formal outfit with buckles; for the panel tank-top and jeans; when she came out later for the 'three' panel - added a hairclip. When I kidded her about that at the photo op (that she changed), she sort of shrugged and said 'Well, girls gotta have fun' in her soft voice.
I was busy talking pictures, so no notes, so ..uhm.. not much of a report. I enjoyed listening to her and here's some pictures.
notice the hair ornament. In Rachel's continuing quest to change outfits each time we saw her, after she came back on stage for the talk with the three of them, she'd added the hair ornament. She had worn it on Sat at her evening autograph signing, but no pictures since she was only in the back behind the stage signing on Sat.
